Community & Grants
In 2018, join us at our annual night of giving. The 3 Up 3 Down Organization will host a night of baseball related activities at Dutchess Stadium on Friday Night July 27th. That night, we will donate more than $12,000 back to the Hudson Valley through grants and gifts. Six youth leagues will be selected to receive a minimum $1,000 grants and three other non-profit organizations (Green Chimneys, The Anderson Center for Autism, and the Fragile X Research Foundation will also receive $1,000 grants as well.
2018 Community Baseball Grant Process
Our 2018 grant process will be open April 1st and close May 31st. If you feel you have a youth league worthy of a grant to support their youth league initiatives, please have them contact us at HVMSBL@3U3D.org and a grant application will be sent. Grant recipients will be announced on our site on June 15, 2018 and receive their grant at our banner check presentation at Dutchess Stadium on July 27th.
Free Night of Baseball
Join us at the Dutchess Stadium for a FREE NIGHT of BASEBALL! The 3 Up 3 Down Organization will be sponsoring the night and the 2018 Hudson Valley Men's Amateur Baseball League's Annual All Star Game. Game time is 7:30pm, but festivities and gates open at 4:00pm. The Annual Home Run Derby will take place starting at 4:00pm and go through 6:45pm. The Derby is open to any participant 18 years of age or older, to find out who the best home run hitter in the Hudson Valley is. Winners split $1,000 in prize money. Announcements commence at 7:00pm with our non-profits receiving their grant checks before game time following by player announcements and of course the HVMSBL All Star Game featuring the 18+ Open Division All Stars vs. 35+ Division All Stars.
Admission hot dogs and water are free for the first 1,000 attendees. Free face-painting for the kids, and the first 100 kids in attendance under 12 receive a free wiffleball bat and ball set compliments of 3 Up 3 Down! Apparel, discount glove embroidery and other other vendors will be in attendance. We'll have a bat vendor in attendance doing bat demos for adults and kids alike. RSVP's for the game helpful, but not mandatory.
